In November and December 2016 I am honoured to be a Visiting Fellow of The Oxford Research Centre for Humanities (TORCH). While in the UK, I will be working towards a new project on Medieval Identification Practices, and completing the manuscript of my first monograph, Edward I and His Correspondence. You can also catch me at the University of Warwick on 16th November, where I will be giving a seminar on recent work on the place of female kin in the diplomatic exchanges of Edward I of England and Philip IV of France.
While in the UK, I am especially keen to meet and chat with local scholars working on areas of medieval politics, diplomacy and gender, the philosophy and practice of identity/identification, and matters of epistolarity and rhetoric. Look me up, or find me on twitter (@KB_Neal)!
